Jesus is a BOSS!!

It shouldn't matter where you get a positive message from. Whether it's in church, from a parent, a close friend or in this case riding the 4 train uptown. This guy got on the train with his boombox, music blasting rapping about how good God is. It kind of threw me off because he used a well known beat, (can't think of the song at this moment) and I thought he was gonna rap about nonsense. To my surprise, he was really interesing. You will hear some static in the middle of the recording from the train noices but keep watching. Its gets really good towards the end.

Enjoy........

Hidden Talent!

While walking through Penn Station I came across this wonderful talent. He has an amazing voice and humble personality. It was really nice talking to him. James Ramsey has been singing for years perfecting his talent. If you have ever taken a stroll through 34th street Penn Station then you know the millions of people that pass through there. Whether they are taking the subway or Long island rail road. James Ramseys voice has touched them all.

On the 'A' train headed uptown to Harlem

This is sooo New York. The music kind of reminds me of the movie New Jack City. These guys are amazing dancing on the train. Mind you its a really small space they are manuvering in. This is what these young men do to stay busy, keep out of trouble, and make some extra money.

I'm always ready with my camera in my hand everywhere I go because I am bound to find someone doing something extroadinary in the streets of this city. So much excitement at the turn of each corner.

I Take Child Support Money

This is just pure comedy!!! Only in New York will something like this occur. I wanted to laugh soooo hard but I had to hold it in. I hope you guys enjoy this. One of the many reasons I love this place

I have seen him on the train a few times and it never seems to fail. He always has everybody on the train laughing.

That.. Girl.. is.. Poisen

Heading home from one of my favorite restaurants on 42nd street, I came across a boy band named Side Track performing Poisen by Bel Biv Devo. I was stopped in my tracks and in awe of these men because they sang really well and had great coregraphy. These guys definelty need to be noticed.

As you can see the guy on the side was feeling the performance as well. I think he was trying to learn new dance moves. Please excuse my singing in the backround. I know I sound really bad but I couldn't help it. I love that song. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Sweet Low Sweet Chariot

I was on the 2 train platform at 42nd Street Times Square when I heard these serene voices. I felt like I was sitting in church. There voices were full of so much tenderness. You will literally get chills listening to these ladies. They were amazing!

Sorry for such poor video. I was so taken by what I was hearing that I didnt realize the camera wasn't properly on them. But you can clearly understand where I am coming from. They literally made me stop in my tracks. Towards the end you will see the guy on the train in the backround feeling it too. lol.
Hope you enjoy.

The Saxaphone is a way of Expression

As I got off the train at 42nd street Grand Central Station I heard an amazing saxaphone humming with beautiful music. As I got closer to see where this was coming from I noticed it was a Japanese guy on the sax playing it with so much soul.

Yaz Band is a four piece group which plays classic R&B songs written by artists such as Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire and Marvin Gaye as well as original instrumental tunes influenced by Grover Washington, Jr., Maceo Parker and The Crusaders. They were breathtaking!!!
